Did anybody notice how the crowd cheered for many things the Left says we are against.

Many millions of acres of land was bought from the Native Americans by the early settlers. The US was most definitely not all "stolen".

If they did not outlaw the sale of tribal land to whites anymore the reservations would be a lot smaller here, deeded land (sold to Whites) Is not uncommon.

Same thing happened in Oklahoma. A lot was sold. I like Oklahoma. Not to many whiners.

The whole "give us back the Black Hills" thing Falls on deaf ears with me. The Sioux only held that country from around the mid 1760's when they got run out of Minnesota by other tribes. The Arikara were there longer than the Sioux. You suppose the Sioux plan to hand it over to them if they were to get it back? I have a dear cousin in western S.D. that is married to a Sioux. He's vocal about how the whites screwed them over, but not at all about his people taking it from the Arikara.

For those who did not see the MT Rushmore extravaganza, make an effort to find it on u tube. The speech by Kristi Noem and the speech by Donald Trump are both worth recording and sending to those who might be open to reason. Both were excellent. On the thread that got axed late last night, several on here wanted Noem in the White House ASAP. Actually the speech by the Interior Sec was good also as he clearly pointed out that the opening of Federal lands for outdoor activities as well as energy development were strongly supported by Trump.

Suppose our senior resident crybaby did his usual and baited someone into an attack that one of the mods deemed unacceptable. That is his normal(as if anything about him is normal) tactic and unfortunately someone will usually fall for it.

I just don't axe any questions.
As a wise old Native once said "If it weren't for white man, we'd still be bouncin' our arses across the prairie on a couple of sticks."
Horses were even brought here by Englishmen.

I've considered that, but, it's hard to ignore.....really can't call it ignorance or stupidity.....not sure what the proper term is. Just being purposely abrasive for some reason.

The Socratic method of conversation, although can be argumentative, was meant to bring about ideals and to stimulate thinking. What they do is bait, on purpose, to cause either capture of their quarry or ruin a thread they don't agree with. It's a shame that those people can get a whole thread axed, but, that's the lay of the land.

Sometimes, and I include myself Gary, we get a bit passionate and say things we mean, but say them in a rude manner. The difference is we didn't set out from the beginning to kill a thread. We we're just being a butthead lol.

Guilty as charged....don't know about you, but I'm not college-educated and polished like a lawyer. I'm just point blank. laugh Say it first, then think about if I should say it.
