I wish to go on record and say I have the best kids ever on this earth. They are fully growed and on their own. They run to open doors for the Elderly. They are kind hearted, passionate, wonderful in all facets and yes, hard working. I couldn't be prouder as a Dad. They came over for Fathers Day, with mask, had to sit 6ft apart, go in to the house one at a time. They believe what they are told by the media, despite being raised by an American loving redneck, hillbilly like me.

How do your kids feel and react to this stuff?, cause I just rock on. And by no means am I knocking them, I believe in personal Freedom to do as you wish. I support them however they feel, regardless how I roll. Just wondering if others are seeing the same as me.

They were probably trying to protect you more than protecting themselves.

4,712 lol, don't matter Rick. My babies soak it up, where as I just keep livin and doing my thing. I come from a time when we ate dirt, played Cowboys and Injuns. When the Scarlet Fever or something came round, they quarantined the sick, not the healthy. Kept things a goin!

My kids, including my oldest daughter who is a nurse, think its way over sensationalized

Mine are respectful and concerned for the most vunerable but they get up every day and go to work and take care of their families just like we did when they were little and trouble arose. Sure am proud of them. Oh side note no protesters either.

My son and I (I still count as a kid sometimes) make jokes about the “Rona”.

Few things better than knowing you raised good kids I agree. My boy is working in middle of nowhere and there are almost no cases there probably because there are almost no people. After oil crashed so badly he and his little buddies are happy to be working.

LL, you can keep the signature if you want, don't bother me none. That's not about what I'm gettin to. I was (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) the other night cause I wasn't feelin well and although we may not agree on things, I came across as a tool. My bad.

My kid has a bachelor's in biology and sees this thing as a political football. She is 25, single, female, living on her own and possesses enough common sense to vote for freedom in the next election.

Personally I think your kids acted in an extremely responsible manner. Why I don’t believe the Corona is any worse than the flu, I still respect my elders and I’m 52. I could be carrying the virus and pass it on to someone that’s already not in good health. I work as an essential. If companies want me wearing a mask before I enter then I have no issue doing so...even if I think it really won’t make a difference. But, “IF” there is any possible way that it could save an older, not in good health, persons life...then why not.

Well then, that's cool, follow. I lost my Mama 2 year ago. She would have never fallen for this, she was a hugger and would have continued to hug, I reckon I got that from her. Quarantine the sick and leave the rest of us be seems like ole time freedom, does it not?

We are good- I am the last man to hold a grudge- they are counterproductive IMO. I am glad you are back to yourself.

As far as the signature, I always drop something in there that makes me laugh. Next time I see something funny I will prolly swap it out.

My three year old thinks it's hilarious to tell people she has "cowonaviwus", it really cracks her up. My eight year old finds people that wear masks weird, but he holds his breath when we walk past them in the grocery store because he wants to be polite.
