Not an all black cast but several well known patriots were portrayed by blacks. Somehow that is acceptable but it's not okay for a white guy to be the voice of a black cartoon character. Confusing times.

Yeah- I might have to miss it. Shampoo my hair and trim some funky long eyebrows and nose hairs trying to hide in the mustache. Oh well- you fools can tell me about it.

My adult sons and their wives were home for the 4th. They decided to watch this show on the main home TV. They had the stereo surround system on and it was more than I could handle even sitting in an adjoining room. I ended up on the sun porch for some peace and quite for a few hours!

This makes no sense. How is he “going in circles”? He just asked a simple question which, if the original statement is true, would require a very simple answer. No one is going in circles at this point although you have yet to prove your point.

I have no clue if I would enjoy Hamilton but probably not if they feature rap or hip hop music of any flavor. What I would enjoy is if accusations, which are likely garnered from other very conservative circles and regurgitated as gospel truth, were given even a mild test to see if they are worth repeating. Someone said Hamilton if nothing but the Reds trying to make us socialists! Well, sounds like we need to repeat that at every opportunity we get. Or we could watch part of the show, check out other reviews and, this will be hard for some of you, make up your own mind.

You really believe he had no clue when he asked the original question? LOL

Great reviews and awards huge TV tour all of the late night TV shows loved him, Ellen and Gayle sang his praises. Lectured VP Pence when he took his children to see it. It’s not rocket science to figure it all out Is it really? When was the last time you seen a conservative on these same shows?

Wasnt he Jamaican or Bahamian though?

Honestly the race mixing doesnt bother me at all and really shows the actors ability. That goes for white actors playing traditionally black characters also unless it is pivotal to the story.

After thinking about it....it would be interesting to see a play about the antebellum south with black actors as masters and white actors as slaves.

Alexander Hamilton was born in Scotland his family moved to Maryland on this continent... Don't believe there was anything Black about him.

i suspect the wealthy merchant that "took him in" after his mother died was his father. No way of knowing now but it seems pretty generous to send the orphan of an unmarried mother to New York and pay for his education. Back then the sins of the mother were definitely passed on to the child.

You still haven’t shown how this is “reeducation from the left.”

Is it very left-leaning? Yes. Are they rewriting history? Not that I’m aware of. Are they making a bunch of conservatives talk about it? Yes! And maybe that is all they wanted to do. Way to help the left.
