If you were going to buy say a power washer one had a BS the other choice had a Honda engine for say $20 more what one would you buy?

Too much competition from harbor freight. It's sad. I disagree or at least in part in my opinion it has a lot more to do with poor business decisions over the last 10 or 20 years all adding up resulting in a poorer product and loss of market share, some of those decisions were why I sold my shares in B&S several years ago

I like the red Honda's too. I also like Briggs and Stratton. I know that the Honda's last longer. The Briggs seem a bit slimmer for improved visibility on a BCS tiller. Just my 2 cents, if someone likes Honda's. I'm cool with that.

I have steered clear of anything with a briggs and stratton on it. Loud and always seem to break down. If they can't produce as quality of an engine as Honda or Harbor Freights Predator line then they deserve to go.
