Cornfield next to the house is about 5 feet tall. The old rhyme here is "knee high by the fourth of July." We are WAY ahead of that. We've been dry for a week and a half, could use some rain now.

Some rain should be heading your way several storms passing through the last week or so, some hail I hope you don’t get that.

.50 cal hail a few weeks ago.

We just got about .4 inches in a quick T storm. We really needed the moisture after 10 days of hot and dry weather. About 15 miles to the north of me severe T storm warnings for 60 mph winds, quarter sized hail and heavy rain.
The rain broke the week long upper 80s and low 90s for a few hours. We were dry on the surface and we still have many places in the fields with the low spots having standing water. Rivers are down about 1-2 foot from 3 weeks ago.

We're starting to get a gentle rain right now. Hopefully it stays gentle.

Sure could use some here. Corn is rolling up on the lighter soils. Also starting to tassel, so this hot dry weather is causing some stress on it.

Same here. Corn in clay and heavy loams is ok, but in the sandy fields with deeper water tables it's hurting

We have 1300 acres of pasture and I have been forced into feeding the cows. Need some rain badly here.

Have the rain! Plenty of it to cause everything to flood! Trying to cut hay but the rain has other plans
