My grandson is spending the night. So we set up the cowboy camper. I thought the cot was mine, but the grandson claimed it. So Grampa and Grama are on the ground. I will get some pictures when he gets back to the camper. He's a mover, doesn't stay in one place long.

He cooked some smores and headed to bed. I think he just wants to make sure I don't get the cot.. He is five and stays up later than I do most nights. [Linked Image]

Clearly you don't have sand fleas (no see ums) in ND.

You must have more energy than me, to be able to wear out a 5 year old like that. Looks like a great day!

Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

Great stuff! Kind of went through the same thing with a 3 year old little girl. She wanted to sleep in a tent. Lol It was all good till the first thunder boom (3 AM) and that was enough. Lol

Good times thou and memories.

Nice, they'll remember that for their lifetime!

I can still smell the canvas army tent we'd set up in the yard. It had a smell of its own, but we'd let it air out good and sleep on the army cots dad got with it.
