Had awesome grilled blacked swordfish last nite and grilled halibut tonite. Got it fresh from the fish market this week. Hit a couple of crab leg buffets this week too.... Seafood is awesome wish I lived closer to the ocean.

There used to be this bar, way back, well over 30 years ago that had a buffet. They had everything seafood plus turtle, frog legs, oh my. On certain nights it was all you could eat for 9.99 plus 1 dollar huge draft beers. It was awesome till the dance floor gave out and law suits ended the wonderfulness lol. Beer is good, people are crazy, seafood trumps all.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Something about the texture and sweetness of most seafood. I'll tell ya, not much in the ocean I won't eat and most I will take over a land base critter 9 times out of ten having the choice.

Love seafood except for the fish. I'll eat it but don't love it. Clams, scallops, crabs, lobster, that's good stuff. Hoping to get out next week, drop some crab pots and rake for some clams while I'm waiting for the crabs to come knocking.

Just once I'd like to go to a real place that knows how to do seafood and eat lobster and crab legs till I can't walk. Just go nuts and spend a couple hundred bucks lol.

When I worked in Houston, they had a similar restaurant called Catfish Kitchen. You could order any three items off the menu,,and eat all you wanted for like five bucks.(This was in the late 70s ) They HATED seeing me come in.I wanted frog legs only. They would try to get you to eat hush puppys and the like to fill you up.I said nope,,just keep the frog legs coming.I could eat a bushel of em.

There's a place here where you order by the tray. Order clams and you get a full size cookie sheet of clams set on the table. I haven't been there in years but we would would order clams, scallops, shrimp, etc until they couldn't fit another tray on the table. It's "family style". Everybody grabs from whatever tray they want to grab from. It's an expensive meal but worth it. We're always trying to figure out where to go out to eat - I'll have to add that place back into the rotation.
