Parsnip patch, heavily manured along with all my gardens, 4' wide rows with a couple of tomatoes in the walkway between. Them parsnips are nearly 30 inches tall, and they do better like this, seeded just before snowfall and not in rows. I thin as needed. Human consumption and muskrat bait. They always get watered....and are in a raised bed,10” wide boards. We have been giving some miracle grow every 10 days or so. It been real hot and humid here for a week or10 days. Thanks Ness They are over fertilized, would be my guess. Miracle grow is powerful stuff. My beans looked tough shortly after they came up but look good now. They experienced a big of fertilizer burn until we had a bunch of rain. "The voice of reason!"

Bigbrownie trapper B Joined: Mar 2018 Posts: 3,159 Pa.	My guess on Nessmuck’s wilting plants....too much fertilizer. I’ve seen potatoes this year that were hoed up and side dressed with too much fertilizer, leaves curled and some plants died.
