I was out later that night missed it but did see a shooting star when I put the dog on her leash.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

A guy here took this pic of it next to chimney rock, one of our states landmarks. Pretty neat pic. I saw it couple times this week. Not a very bright comet but fun to see them and I remember the bright ones in my lifetime. I love to see celestial shows that only come by once and awhile. Jim

I don't know how they get pics like that when it's that light out. we had to wait until about 10:00 PM to get decent viewing because the setting sun was keeping the shy light in the west.
Maybe better editing software than I have?
