that i do lol trying to get 23 acres of weeds under control on new pasture so we can run cattle next year (hopefully meat market picks up soon) plus i work full time on 2nd shift (3p-1a) so finding time for everything is a struggle....and thank god we don't have many bear here. i think all of mississippi has 300 blacks bear if I'm not mistaken. we have a lot of coyote and coon tho. Black bears are just gigantic racoons. That's all anyone needs to know haha... They're annoying and not an innate threat. just a fyi.... looks like when you responded to me, you probably clicked "reply" but if you click "quote" under my message, then it will be added to your reply/message (like i just did) and that way, people scrolling through (me) will notice your response clearer, so it won't get muddied with all the other comments. I've only ever passed through Mississippi.... i'll spend some time there one day.... Biloxi is so weird, i'll avoid that next time.

Welcome Wally! Where I live and it may be different in your area is but if the predator ate the animal where it killed it it is more likely a fox than a coyote when the yard birds are ranging on grass. Go get em.

Howdy and Welcome... this is a good time to be learning, in case you cut or damage your critter, you won't be out too much, because they aren't paying much for hardly anything.
