does anyone have a trick or know away to remove gaurd hair from home tanned beaver skins?...

I wrapped my fingers in duct tape and just pulled it out. It removed the guard hairs and left the underfur untouched. While it worked very well, it was not fast. Probably only a good method for small projects and crafts. The tanneries use something called a scud I believe. They toss some chalk on the fur and sort of "flesh" off the guard hairs from the fur. I saw a video of it once on YouTube I think. The scud was like a dull tool made of wood or metal I think. Boco talked about it once. Maybe he could chime in.
