Again, I apologize. However, my point is the masks in my opinion are nothing more than another control tool by our elected officials, and people don't see it. They don't even pass the minimum for osha when masks are required for certain jobs. Dry wall for instance. The masks are a scare tactic and we already have been told they don't work.

Go in the bathroom with a mask on after someone took a dump. If you smell anything then you’ll realize it doesn’t protect you from chit!

I once made a post on here that was pure B.S. just to see how many people would be offended. I made up an elaborate story about how I was getting the NAFA top lot program cancelled because it violated my religious beliefs against gambling. I dropped the right names and quoted Canadian statutes against gambling and more integrate B.S. The chief of the Mounties was on board. You name it, I made it up.

People on here went flippin nuts. I was called every name you could think of, death threats. Not a response did I make. Every now and then I would give a progress report. Then every name you could think of and death threats. It didn't matter if every now and again someone would post" He is just making it up." Some guys got so offended by the personal attacks they defended my moral character. The mods must have been enjoying it as much as the rest of the people who knew what I was up to, because it went on for ever.

Fox news had a doctor on last night ,and he was adamant on masks stopping the spread,those wearing proper masks,do not spread the disease.
If you look enough,you will find conflicting claims about every aspect of the disease.
For my health and that of my wife,I will do what I think is right---not what you or other mask haters,think I should do.
Personally I never considered wearing one a hardship.

The problem as I see it is that no one, not one single person walking around is wearing "the proper mask." The proper mask needs to be fitted to the person wearing it. In fact, "proper masks" are not even being recommended by those mandating that we wear masks.
The folks who have pre-existing conditions should not even be in public if they want to remain alive.
I respect your position that you choose to wear a mask. It may even keep you from contracting the virus for a while. Just make sure that when you touch something with your gloved hand, which someone else has touched, and then touch your mask, throw the gloves and mask away and replace with new immediately in such a way that you do not touch your face. Given your strong position on this matter, I am sure that you are already doing this, right?

Put it on and walk in the store. Walk out and take it off. Open the car door and hang it on your mirror. Get to work and grab your mask. Put it on and walk in. Come out of work and take it off. Hang it on the mirror. Stop at the Wal-Mart's and grab your mask. Go in and get your beer, cigs and a dozen eggs. Walk out the door, get in your car and hang the mask. You gonna say they didn't touch their face one time in that period? Ok. An olive branch extended. They also hit the hand sanitizer everyone else hit.

I'm not gonna pick on any one that wants to put one on. Don't give me no crap if I don't and we will call it even.

9 month old Minnesota baby just died of covid. Doctors recomendation,wear a mask ,it helps people from spreading the disease to others. A baby cannot wear a mask,so they have to depend on others to keep them safe. From the responces on here,I hope the anti mask people have no little ones.
Carl,not all mask wearers are stupid,and I don't wear gloves for the reasons you mentioned. I also avoid touching my face.
The only time I wear gloves is when skinning,I also avoid touching my face when skinning.

A couple weeks ago the wife and I went to a local Menards and were told at the entrance we had to wear a mask.
They were happy to sell us ones for 75 cents each, plus tax. Made in China.
10 more miles and we were at a Home Depot. I don't care if you wear a mask or underwear for that matter
but I sure as H am not gonna be forced to wear a made in China anything.

The masks were are asked to wear are not intended for hours of protection, such as drywall, or surgery. A simple two ply cotton fabric mask will arrest the majority of water droplets in a cough or sneeze and greatly reduce the effective range of the droplets. The virus mainly travels in water vapor.
This is why we are asked to wear the masks. A cotton mask and six feet of separation goes a long way in reducing transmission. This is what I have been told, what I have seen on Tv, and what I have read. Don’t try to make the issue of viral transmission something it isn’t. The virus does not understand politics.
