Just wondering what some of y'alls things you do for, or with, the wifey poo in the off season that you can't stand doing but know it will gain you big brownie points and she'll let you run free as bird in the fall!

I'm not talking about things around the house, that stuff is a given. Thinking more about places she makes you go with her that are either extremely boring or unimportant to you.

Or am I the only poor man that has to do this??

Yeah, I know, by september i'm rummaging through her purse to see if I can find "them" and glue'em back on...

My wife is on lockdown. We're doing the Dave Ramsey money makeover. I don't have to do anything right now, cause she can't go anywhere.

I take mine to the Dr all the time, does that count?

My wife rides horses, I go to the shows and watch her ride. Hate it boring as all gets out and I don't like horses..told her since I help catch horses saddle horses and pretend and stay up late on show nights. She gets to help me skin this coming season lol...won't happen, however if momma isn't happy ain't no one happy!

I just keep getting in her way while shes trying to do stuff ,,til she tells me to "Go fishing or something"

well not quite the same but once she left me off at the army navy , she said she would wait in the car outside while I went in and got pants.

I come out no car , no wife.

so I am walking around with a bag of pants and trying to call her but she is not answering. I was HOT.

when she rolls up 40 minutes later with a $2200 sewing machine she put on the credit card , to be fair it was a $4400 dollar machine she got as it had been a floor model at a quilt show for 2200.

I decided this was my opportunity to play it cool and never catch heat for going for a haircut and coming home with a gun again.

we had to implement budgets but life has been good since.

as for running free well maybe not entirely free but she has no vacation and I have 5 weeks

For 25 years my wife knows when October to around February , she's a widow.

Ya, I was afraid to even open this one.
I knew a gal that loved that too, then a big kiss, but threw a fit if I stabbed a second piece of meat off the serving platter with the fork I been eating with. Never figger them out.

I try to store up bonus points all year round and then cash them all in during the fall. (After 20 years she knows the routine.)

Youre doing it wrong. When youre doing it right shes happy to see you leave and then you carry on with the day and do what you want, win win lol

I work full time trying to gather tat to use as trade!

I trap all year long. I am not encumbered by the bounds of seasonality. I am free to my outwardly, habitual dickishness ways year round.

Wife and I are near inseparable. We do everything together, even work. Her addiction is fishing, mine is a bunch of other stuff. So we go fishing and she’s happy. Sometimes she goes trapping sometimes not.
Got lucky I guess...not sure what she sees in me but says I’m perfect.
I guess one thing I’m not into is going to botanical gardens to see flowers. I don’t hate it but it’s not my cup of coffee. I smile as she tells me what each one is and why we should have them in the yard. I know she likes flowers so I guess I like them too.
She really wants a dirt bike and I know if she got one I could get away with darn near anything...including getting myself one.
