There might be a couple of things that can be done- first do you have attic insulation and if so did the builder give you enough attic ventilation. This can really affect things. 2nd- consider getting your windows on at least 2 sides tinted. When I say tinted- they now have clear tint that repels UV light very well.
There are other things, but inspecting buildings these are usually the first 2 suspects.

Is that electric or all utilities? All utilities except for hot water heater and stove. We have a 20,000 sq/ft yard and a 3,000 sq/ft garden that I have had to water nearly daily this past month.

We stopped using a clothes dryer and I was surprised how much ours dropped. Our oil furnace is another big user. Ours drops alot once we turn it off for the summer.
Ours runs in the 70 dollar range in the summer and double that when the furnace runs and its too cold to hang clothes out.

Just curious, what are you paying per kilowatt-hour ? I’m paying about 7.25 cents here in Northern Az. $0.083504 per kilo plus a $21.00 base charge.

If you have an electric water heater you can install a timer on it and shut the heater off at night and mid day. I installed a 24 hour 7 day timer on ours and I still never run out of hot water. It shuts off for 7 hours at night and 6 hours during the day.

Ours runs in the 70 dollar range in the summer and double that when the furnace runs and its too cold to hang clothes out. Mine is 4 times that high and the wife hardly ever uses the clothes dryer. The central air has been running almost constantly this entire month, I think my next electric bill will be at least $400.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.
