Started here Monday. Be careful the snitches are thick. Heard on the news this morning that the Little Rock police are asking people not to use 911 to report mask violations.

Why is it the U.S. is taking so long to catch up to the rest of the world? Cause the media didn’t say so.

Why is it the U.S. is taking so long to catch up to the rest of the world? We like are freedom. Even if it is the freedom to behave badly. But watch out, we will dominate the world at the "inane debating "international competitions. To be fair Canada had a good chance, but when I read that your Canadian champion "Boco" was retiring that was the writing on the wall for Canada.

Bout time...but no, I won't be turning in non mask wearers. Besides, most people are selfless enough to put up with the minor inconvenience of wearing a mask. Some don't believe the media left wing propaganda. It's not about being selfless. 6 months in and I'm still negative. I must be doing something right.

If they can tell you to wear a mask for the protection of other people, I bet they can tell you not to carry a gun, because someone might accidently get hurt.
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Yes, including the person that can't carry the gun. I can't get hurt wearing a mask. I have no intention of ever giving up my guns. Bout time...but no, I won't be turning in non mask wearers. It's not about being selfless. 6 months in and I'm still negative. I must be doing something right. I consider the nightly news a joke. But I've seen enough videos of doctors and nurses in hot zones begging people to wear masks that I'm convinced. Look, you guys think you're right, I think I'm right. I would like to hear what you have to say about my comments in this post but I am done. I haven't seen a single opinion change on here yet. Have a good one.

This is the same Republican governor who said he would be willing to consider changing the name of the state to avoid offending his native American friends.
Sheesh! I think he blows with the wind more than Mike Pence does.

I would like to know the "TRUE" numbers of ACTUAL FLU victims this year????
Seeing as 60,000 people died of regular flu in 2019.
Or are the hospitals calling everything Covid-19 for the extra money awarded for each case?
Makes one wonder.

I'm going to try and answer your questions, because we have had the same inane debates locally and attempted to find those answers.
There is no true number of actual flu victims. They are estimated flu associated deaths. These numbers are generated well after the flu season, after much research and calculation. Most estimates come with a range. There really is not a point estimate. If you are getting one number the estimate it is most likely the midpoint of that range. For example your 60,000 would come out of an estimate of something like 30,000 to 90,000. This actually means the number could be as low as 30,000 or as high as 90,000.
We also researched the difference hospitals get paid between a flu and covid patient. It appeared to be $3,000 to $4,000 more. However, can you imagine the additional expense of treating a covid compared to a flu with all the quarantine protocols? It may not be that lucrative to call a flu a covid that it is worth the risk for the gain or for a persons to violate principles. It may be happening, but it would not seem to be widespread. IMHO

The hospital in my county setup a remote location as an ICU overflow. But it has been deserted since day one. It's abandoned now. They initially closed all the immediate care facilities and transferred resources to be available for cornavirus patients. They prevented anyone from entering the hospital except for emergency treatment.
After the hospital sat around for four months and only treated a handful of "pandemic" cases, they have successfully gotten people all lathered up and scared away from the hospitals. They must be really hurting for business after this Covid-19 windfall didn't pan out for them. Now, they are advertising in the newspaper and on the radio trying to tell everyone to come back to the hospital and get treated. They are advertising that everything is perfectly safe and you can even have visitors come to see you if you have an in-patient treatment.
Funny how I have to wear a mask to protect everyone's health, but everything is just safe and peachy if I want to go back to the hospital where all the sick people go. Funny how I'm not allowed to visit the ER to complete the practical requirements for my EMT class but if I want to come and visit my granny who is sick with the pneumonia, they say there's no worries and it's safe for me to come in.
What a crock of shinola!
