Hmmm, I think the highest bill I have had for gas/electric combined was right at $150. I would guess we pay $100/ month, on average. Our central air ran about non-stop last month and our total bill for gas/electric and water was $120. We keep the house at 68 degrees year-round. Well insulated, dinky home with new furnace and A/C..

Hang a clothesline! That ole dryer uses quite a bit of electric.

That aint bad at all this time of year mine at the house busts 300 each month and its a small house. The heat wave we have rite now, the ac never shuts off. I normally wake up about 3 in the am and turn it off to give it a break and let the wife turn it back on when she gets up after im gone to work.
