Sons 8th birthday party today, we usually have a pool
party and rent the city pool however covid stopped that. He wanted it to be fortnight so we filled the ammo for him. Between me momma and grandma I'm sure wehave close to 500 if not more.

Ya both my kids are a tad spoiled... Momma grew up poor and horrible parents, so she tends to go a tad over board so her kids don't have that feeling. Also I have a nice wagon that goes behind that 4 wheeler for horse crap out of the stalls for him.

Got both my kids dirt bikes last year for Xmas. Thought it would be a great idea to push them up next to the tree in the living room in the middle of the night. Which it was, but somebody should've told me to turn the gas off on the flipping things!

Hope you remember the smile on his face as you are following the ambulance to the ER when he wrecks it... Not if he wrecks it but when and how bad he gets hurt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a stupid way to comment, you could have done better like normal people.

I call them like I see them.

For one member to tell another that his eight-year-old son will absolutely be taking an ambulance ride to the ER because he bought him an ATV is plain stupid.

I grew up on an ATV, tractor, bike, and the only time I went to the ER was due to an inch of sleet on a gravel road that gained about a 1000 feet of elevation in one mile. My dad pulled out the old steel runner sled and I will guarantee I was pushing 60 miles an hour at the bottom. I hit where the salt truck turned around and I proceeded by air for a descent piece.

Some parents are great judges of their children's abilities and maturity levels. They know if their children will be safe or not.

For anyone not familiar with the kid or the parents to assume otherwise is ignorant.

I've rode 4 wheelers and dirt bikes all my life I haven't yet. All I how you teach them, we've start off slow 1st gear put around the yard.. he will be ok tought to respect the machine

And on maturity level the kid is 8 going on 20.

Don't sweat it salemtrapper. My boy had all them things at an early age and this truck when he got his drivers permit at 14. If these other guys want to raise sissys that's ok. Catch22 turned out to be ok for a sissy.
