With Trudeau's foghorn like constant spewing of apologies, us white folk having to apologize for things or ancestors didn't even know they did, celebrities being called out for past transgressions and apologizing for their heinous actions, and even the resent rash of Tman threads poking fun at this nauseating trend...I ask this question:

Whats next?

What will the "in" thing be after the novelty of the apologies wear off? Will we all keep apologizing forever? When will people start not apologizing? Will anyone ever realize that it is the past that cannot be changed, and being sorry serves no purpose? To me what would be far more meaningful is a plan to change future actions.

Why must there be so much self flagellation? When the apologies get old and non-newsworthy, what will be the next big thing?

Whatever trend or frenzy the liberal-controlled media wants to whip the sheeple into will be the next thing.

Trends are tough to predict (and this is a trend, make no mistake), but throw enough darts in the air one will land. That's how weathermen (persons?) keep their jobs.

It makes the left feel good to apologize. They can pat themselves on the back and feel superior to you. Reparations might be next, but of course as long as none of their money is involved.

I think reparations is a good call. Already rumblings of it.

I think I agree with trapdog, it is a feel good thing from the far left, kind of like thoughts and prayers from the far right. They both serve to please their base but do nothing. Politicians use different vehicles to try and deflect from their actions or inabilities.

Yup. And I'm getting in line. I'm sure some of my ancestors were wronged by someone somewhere sometime. That event still affects my life in a negative way yet today, and I'm sure it can be made partially better with some cash.

Since most of the apologizers..(apologizees?) are liberal I am inclined to say no, but I see where you are coming from and am in favor regardless.

Don't eschew the inner warm fuzzy feeling a good solid apology can give you.

We're seeing the fruits of the 60s and 70s radicals who poured into our colleges and universities as faculty, who became tenured and for nearly 50 years now have fostered ideologies of power over reason, group identity, group rights, group victimization, and the idea that all of reality is simply socially constructed. None of these ideas are new. They just needed to be systematically reproduced over several generations of captive audiences and voilà....

I myself will be after an Apology and Reparations from Germany Two of my Uncles fought in WW1 and numerous cousins in WW2
I also expect Reparations from the French for presenting their backsides as the first line of defense and dragging everyone into the war in europe
As i am German I probably had more relatives fighting for Germany then against Now they were just immigrating to other countries to start a new life
so i expect reparations from the U S also
All this happened before i was born so the trauma i haven't experienced yet because i didn't know i had it may be more severe then imagined

Any money recieved will have a small percentage deducted for tax purposes and to repirate those i 've wronged and offended as this line will be quite long please be patient and respect social distanceing protocol

I agree with the others who said reparations. I think predicting some sort of legislated reparations to anybody the left feels was slighted in any way by white folks would be a pretty solid bet.

Once they convince enough folks that they are sorry for things they did not do the next step comes.....this is about the subjugation of the white race. Most likely being run/financed by china.

I have not one ding dang problem with the black folks, nor any other race. As far as I see it we, under his sky, are all brothers and sisters. But, the ones pushing for all this do not see it like me, they do not want equality, they do not want to be one together, they want dominance imo. I believe Marty is correct and it's nothing short of being a shame. Heck, I just want to trap, hunt, fish, help where and when I can, and go on about myself. I'm sure glad even as stove up as I am that I'm not young in this time we are in.

In these days there is no concept of forgiveness so you're constantly making apologies and making reparations. Never apologize.

Well, I think the Minnesota House just past legislation declaring racism a public health crisis. Perhaps Obamacare will start covering it.
