When I heard baseball players were kneeling during the playing of the national anthem, that killed my baseball season. A friend told me that our MN Lynx basketball team stayed in their locker room during the playing of the national anthem. All but two players on the team are black. Talk about racism! Too blind to see the forest because of all the trees!
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

When did pro sports players turn into 80 year olds? Play thru it.

All the sports became pretty unimportant, pretty fast. The players all think we can.t do without them.
I got news for all them. Keep on playing before no fans. Most are not watching at home either.

Because the MLB season as planned is so compact and interlinked, ANY cancellation was bound to affect multiple teams. To have it happen opening weekend may show how unrealistic the original plan was. The actual players are just the tiny spearpoint of all the folks whose livlihoods are intertwined with pro sports. Think of all the shops, stores, bars, restaurants, private parking lots, cabs etc etc etc whose operators have a rather short season in which to make some/much of their years income. How does one recover from a missed season?

"The Play: So sick and suffering from flu-like symptoms that at times he staggered, a dehydrated and exhausted Michael Jordan wills himself to 38 points against the Utah Jazz in a pivotal Game 5, adding to the Bulls star's legend as a clutch performer and relentless competitor."

I like sports. Always have. As a kid, I loved playing a number of sports and naturally you start looking at "professional athletes" as the natural progression of the best the sport can be. And they are.
But the last couple of months have changed my view on nearly all sports. I no longer care for professional sports, and I don't watch them anymore. The whole kneeling thing got me started but as I've thought about it, the only thing that separates beer league sports from professional athletes is me paying their salaries. They need me; I don't need them. None of those athletes have ever done a thing for me. On the other hand, I've paid $12 for a soda and $50 a seat so I could watch them. And they've never so much as EVER said thanks to me. I get no Christmas cards, no shout outs, no nothing. So no more college or professional sports for me. I wish I had back all of the hours and days I wasted watching athletes play THIER game. I'm just as happy to go watch a Little League game (some day). Perfectly said! I'm in the same spot.

I do not wish anyone bad health of financial problems but it would be hard for me to feel sorry for the industry as a whole when kneeling for the flag and anti white BS is becoming their thing. Just sayin..
