knives ship free

https://www.knivesshipfree.com/bark-river-knives-kephart-cpm-154-green-canvas-micarta/

this is a nice Kephart design bark river , Bark river makes some very nice knives

the kephart is a lighter weight very useful utility design they have many many different shapes to suit the user they have a lot of bark river at Knives ship free.

I am not sure if they offer engraving on the Bark river knives , but they offered a deal on Laser engraved kids Buck knives.

I am going to admit a lot of their stuff is out of my price. a friend who is a custom knife maker used to go assist at the Bark River knives Grind in where they brought people for a workshop to make their own knife , he says they are a stand up crew up in UP Michigan Escenaba

if she likes the knives a bit smaller the Mini Kephart cuts the weight and gets down to 3.75 inch blade but still very useful for field dressing and skinning

this one has pinkish scales if she is into that https://www.knivesshipfree.com/bark...-3v-amber-ringed-jigged-bone-red-liners/

Just remember you don't need a knife to make Mic Dundee proud. A blade that is a tad longer than your index finger is all you really need and is easier to sharpen. I'm kinda partial to LT Wright Knives.

Match the knife to the task....Blade size and Shape are usually task orientated.

You don't want to use a bread knife to skin a deer or a buck knife to cut steaks. its not that it cant be done but there are better tools for the job.

You and She should talk to the Maker that you choose and agree on style/design/size/shape ect...If you are going to have a custom built for her; have it built to her wants and needs, not what anyone else thinks she needs....And Bring your Checkbook.

As for a custom knife Jack aka Gulo makes a darn nice knife for a very reasonable price the down side is no sheath but a trip to a saddle shop and that problem is solved.
