I have people use the "You can't even eat them" line with me about sandhill cranes. They just don't know what they are missing.

There are some real idiots out there who feel their opinion is the only one that's right.

There is a resort on MilleLacs Lake that was taking clients out fishing smallmouth. Since the walleye restrictions are so rigid on the lake, it's pretty much impossible to catch and keep one. They mentioned to some of their smallmouth fishermen who wanted a fish to take home to eat, to try some of the smaller bass. Some did and said the bass were pretty good. When the resort posted it on Facebook, they got threats from some antis, from burning their house down, to blacklisting their business, and were called every foul name under the sun. I'm sure this was coming from some hard core bass fishermen too.

It's been a real struggle for all resorts on MilleLacs to just survive. They don't need this type of harassment from idiots.

That and it seems that people who spout a lot of profanity in their vocabulary generally have a low IQ.

I had the opportunity to try bear meat once, and it was delicious. A guy gave me a pint of canned Black Bear meat, and the taste and texture were identical to my home canned beef. YUMMY.

I have eaten it many times, I am glad I just found out they can’t be eaten, and those bear that I did eat, are still alive. I feel so bad for those bear.

I love those people the stupidity is a comedy show in it's self 🤣 the thing is they really believe it. Good job man you need to come down to my part of the world our supermarket has shelves full of black bears.
