I have a bumper sticker that says

“The closer you get the slower I go”

I don’t trap because I want to
I trap because I have to

I hear of a guy who welded a big pipe wrench on his bumper so it looked like he forgot it there. Folks backed up because they thought it would fall off and hit their vehicle.

I saw that picture, I don't think half the idiots tailgating would even notice.

my truck is an old survey truck for the power company , I flip on the amber light on the roof when they start getting too close , generally that makes them back off ,of course as soon as I turn it off they work right back up.

my light just died so I need to replace it now.

As long as you got the cojones to back it up. Good way to get your head caved in with a tire iron from some road rage psycho.

The way to really teach them is to put on the emergency break.

I have learned there is no winning when involved in a car accident , your fault or not , your getting screwed and loosing money. Insurance companies don't like loosing and they have rigged the system.

get hit hard , they cover some of the costs you are always out something.

That's a fact. My Son got hit from behind and shoved his car into the car in front of him......the rear-ender's insurance co. wouldn't pay for the car in front of my Son's. And they got away with it.

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

my son got hung up on a pile of snow he couldn't get over as he turned left off the road he was traveling on , the guy slid into him in a 25mph claiming he was doing 20mph but slid 3-4 car lengths and also claimed that he had been accelerating for 2 blocks out of the turn from a 35mph

the guy hit our 2012 minivan that was standing still hard enough to set off all the air bags.

the guy got out was really worried about the kids was everyone all right , he had been up plowing all night then of course didn't mention that to the cop.

I got $6250 for a 2012 minivan any I could find that weren't in bad shape or 8 years older were 8-10K

It ain't like it used to be.
However, my camper got hailed and the insur. co. totaled it. It still works just fine for me.

I paid off my old van a 2001 E350 when it got hailed on in 2004 had it till 2019 and in all that time everything but the roof rusted.

hail might be a small bit of an exception.

sort of surprised they didn't total it then require they haul it away to sell for parts.

if it hadn't been -15 the week they totaled the mini van I had just put new tires on it I would have took them off but it was freezing just to empty the thing out it the parking lot of the body shop

as it was I realized I hadn't taken the I-pass out of the mini van before it went to the salvage yard. 10 dollars more for a new I-pass but at least was able to move the money to the new I-pass.
