Because it's rediculous. If you wanted to force masks, do it day one.
All studies show that masks are not effective for ALL RESPIRATORY VIRUSES. but the expert magnificio Dr Fauci said "masks are not effective. Not necessary." Then he said "masks are necessary.....or you will die and so will your kitty." Then he will say................who knows what.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

A lot of conservative people are angry and justifiably so over how the left is destroying America and pushing towards a totalitarian, one world government. They have displaced their righteous anger against other changes the left is making like the destruction of American history, the destruction of monuments, the attack on free speech, the attack on white people, the attack on self sufficient people and placed it on having to wear a mask.
Keith I'm angry and thats my point! Not one i've met will do anything if there is even a hint of potential consequence. When I lamented having to get a permit to carry a handgun I heard multiple times "just do its easy", now they are telling me i'm a sheep if I wear a mask? Like they are some brash fighters of freedom, what a joke. Decent people have no fight in them anymore. It makes me wonder if they're actually decent. You're right, decent people are scared of the consequences of doing what's necessary and right. The riots should have been stopped immediately in Minneapolis, the very first night. Now things are progressively getting worse and will likely reach a point where massive amounts of violence will be needed to right things. Keith

Why do you really think people are protesting mask? You think its really about their care for "freedom"? The average person works 105 days a year to pay taxes and govt fees, we need permits to purchase and carry guns, if you want to put a new roof on your house you need a permit, build a shed in the yard, best get your permit, take the kids out in a canoe and it better have the govt sticker on it.
No one bothers protesting these egregious infringements of freedom so why mask?
Because there is no consequences from the state for not wearing one. You can hide behind the disability act and you have no fear of being fined, harmed or imprisoned. This is just a chance for "lovers of freedom" to stick it to the man without fear of real consequence. I cant believe how brave these people are "standing up to the govt" knowing there will be zero consequences for them. If someting is not a law, don"t say it's a law. What is amazing to me is the incredible difference in opinion on this between the sheeple and the greater MN conservatives. From my vantage point, our governor is no leader. There is another thread with the link I posted on this. Read it. Some of you folks have been drinking Koolaid a little too long and never questioning anything.

I’m bent outta shape about the whole mask thing because I used to see people years ago in China on tv where about fifty percent of them were wearing a mask and I would think I sure am glad I live in the United States of America where you don’t have to wear a mask just to breathe. I have worn a mask three times since this BS started once in the courthouse to get my tags title and license and twice to the grocery store because they asked nicely. I don’t protest the wearing of masks, I just choose not to based on what I learned in school. Trying to stop viruses with a paper or cloth mask is about the equivalent of making a condom out of cheese cloth. Yes I know it’s not airborne yet, Ya Right! and the masks do catch some of the spit. But if you think for a second it stops all moisture=droplets=virus walk outside in below freezing temps with a mask on an...... exhale.

Maybe people resist wearing a mask because it makes us all feel and look foolish. I wore a mask, because I was required to, to walk into a resturant then sat down and took it off to eat a meal. What sense does that make or who is made to feel better because we were wearing one on the way into the joint? I heard that college football may start up, but players will be required, as soon as they leave the field to take off their helmets and put on a mask. What sense does that possibly make? Can't catch the covid tackling someone, but might get it on the sideline? Maybe now after weeks of relentless harping by the media about Trump not wearing a mask, since he finally gave in, maybe they will shift focus on some other petty BS and give up on the mask worship. I will say the ex-VP looks rather sporting parading around is his designer black mask, setting the standard for the flock.

I know this has been hashed and rehashed(by the way I like hash with poached eggs on top so there)but can you help me please with these questions? I just heard the masked woman on TV.We have heard all this mask stuff and seen these mandates, some have been in place for weeks and even months.Where is the success?Cases are rising more rapidly than ever.So now the masked woman claims its all the young people's fault and says nothing about the mask.So here's my ? Should we gather up all the young people and execute them to stop the pandemic? If you want to gather up the rioters, I think most of us will agree you have our blessings. Keith

We need no permits to purchase or carry any gun, nor to roof a house or build a shed. Also registration for a canoe is not needed. I don't have a problem with people wearing masks but I won't be forced to wear one.

And speaking of rediculousness, why do we have to watch idiot news reporters speaking into a microphone and camera with a freeking mask on???? Does anyone think it can be trasmitted through cable TV or the air waves? Your first problem is watching the news.

I emptied about $4-5 dollars worth of change out of my pocket this morning. I like to save it for a couple years then cash it in. Also, I have hear that safe drivers save 40%.
