Just nuisance beaver for me. Haven’t chased fur in 4 years

Heading out this afternoon to scout out a new area for this fall's adventures. 4 hour drive to new grounds with promises of big coyotes so thick they jump in the back of your truck as you drive through the fields. Nice thing about the poor market will be the advantages of less competition for properties.

Already started raccoons attacked my garden and chickens. Caught four raccoon babies in one live trap. Fur trapping about November 1 most years - water and land open then to trapping and furs start to be in good shape from then on. Lucky that I drive an hour to work every day so I check traps on the way to work thru Federal and State lands.

just like pheasant hunters cant wait till season opens go hunting all day at end of day im to tired to clean the birds in the trash they go i can see this happening to furs this year just like the last few years just gets to be more every year lot of fur never get taken home and a lot gets tossed after it does get home Isn't that called wanten waste? If you can't respect the bird enough to clean it or give it to someone who will eat it, than why shoot it? Antis love this crap. Keep it up and we'll lose this too!

Trapping skunks round the chickens now. I did real well on the juveniles two years ago. Fur trapping sometime in November after I fill my deer tag.

After Thanksgiving for sure. Our season opens november 1st but that is always way too early for our coon and coyote on our end of state. Much better quality after Thanksgiving. Cat season opens Dec. 1st and its too early for our cats also but it works and runs well into February. Anyway, I like to start after Thanksgiving. That way rifle deer is pretty much over except for a few choice seasons, bird hunters have about a month behind them too, most of crops are out, furnis better quality, and I can have many b of my locations to myself by then for rest of the winter...except for the coyote pickup army but I deal with them best I can. Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

How many pets go in the garbage every year? How much food gets freezer burnt and ends up in the garbage every year? I get what you are saying but if we lose anything, it will be because of our own pitching a fit over it.
