in my bag are extra tags, bait, lure, plastic butter knives, roll of tie wire, pliers, screw driver, wrench, estwing straight claw framing hammer, a little bait hole shovel with a cut down handle, a flattened cut in half roll of wax paper, a sifter, a couple pieces of rolled up #9 wire and a couple snares.

My super heavy duty trowel from Stalker Fabrications. I had this trowel from day one when I got back into trapping. I use it for everything including pounding and prying stakes (if for some reason I don’t have my hammer), dispatch, cutting small branches and roots and wire, breaking ice and frozen ground, and everything between....I feel naked without it! Lost sleep once when I temporarily lost it!

Second to the One Hand Setters... 2" auger and cordless drill. Making a dirthole set is as easy as pie!

It doesn't fit in a kit but I would be lost without my Peet boot dryer.

You'd be shocked at the things one man can accomplish- my model is a slight upgrade called a Handyman but I use it to pull up fence posts when you cant get a tractor in, hold up gates while I drill the hinge bolt holes, hold one end of planks while I fasten the far end- you name it. It's companion is a ComeAlong and I rarely leave the driveway w/o them, a tpost driver, and 2 or 3 tee posts. You can do a lot with simple leverage tools
