You are right Sharon, a Percheron,...If I remember correctly it weighted around 1500 pounds, (we never did use the hands measurement) just weight. We kept horses to work in the woods logging. I would ride them bare-back when they were old and quiet..lol Watching a team skid logs by voice command is a thing of beauty.

Watching a team skid logs by voice command is a thing of beauty.
Very true. Impressive to say the least. Watching working horses do their thing is amazing.
