I don’t have a clue what any of the letters represent. When I grew up they were either fags or dykes, and didn’t see an F or D in the letters mentioned.

Completely false. Homosexuality is neither an illness nor a deviant sexual behaviour. It's an orientation that a percentage of the human population is born with. It's not any more likely that a homosexual is going to be comfortable with and/or supportive of child molesters then heterosexuals. Not to mention that the progress in acceptance that the LGBTQ community has gained over the decades would be completely lost over night by all of society.

That's kind of my take. I think it is all pretty screwed up and a lot of what people are coming up with nowadays is mental illness...

But it doesn't mean I would treat those people any differently. Let them have their fantasy land. I know and interact with many gay and lesbian people. Do I think it's messed up? Yup. Does it change how I treat them? Nope.
