Thank you oneeyedtrapper...wish you were closer. We could talk more about wood. That looks like something I'd love to dabble in a bit.

Great looking knives Lee!!

@ Midland, grouse, slick

That’s a nuclear fuel assembly being removed from the reactor core. They glow blue. This is something the Simpsons got wrong.

Every one of those squares you can see at the bottom of that vessel is a fuel assembly composed of a pile of “rods” that contain the actual fuel pellets. Each fuel pellet is about half the size of your pinky and (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) near equivalent to a rail car of coal. Pretty amazing this technology is over 60 years old....if only we would embrace it.

I don't have any photos for the limited skillsets I have. Over 37 years of teaching and consulting I had the pleasure to instruct, teach and consult over 800 students with over 500 of those becoming engaged in running their own farm or ag business. It was a great experience to watch these families grow and succeed. I watched many become successful but also aided some in divesting their businesses when things went south. It was gratifying to be invited into homes, to weddings, and yes for some their auctions as they are now retiring. I still trap on many of those farms, some it is now the 3rd generation.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Lots of impressive talent on here.

No real craft, except radar and antennas, hence my presence here. After 37 years of civil service (DoD) I'm trying to sneak into retirement and get back to my roots as a country boy from Oklahoma.

If you have any questions regarding radar systems or antennas for the trapline feel free to PM me, I'll help all I can.

Wife and I own a wholesale nursery, native wildflowers grasses and shrubs. Going on my fifth winter working on classic wood boat restorations for a shop here. Lots of fun.

Muscatine Iowa. You went right by front door. About 1/4mi away. Those buildings in the top left corner of the picture are were I worked for 35yrs a corn wet milling company.

Me too. Mechanical. I was always a field guy until my son was born. Had to give up the road life.
