Does anyone else remember this series of articles by Carrol black in the Trapper magazine? I have to say, they were extremely motivating to me... and life changing.
I would like to have the entire series, if someone has those issues.
I still remember quotes from those articles and that was about 40 years ago I think.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Good guy.Got his autograph on one of my fur measuring yard sticks somewhere. His coon lure "Night Bandit" is some of the best I have ever used.

I hate to see the older generation of trappers contributions be lost. If I can find any of the articles I will post them. Blackie always impressed me as a self motivated individual who gave a lot of good information to the trapping community.

What I liked about Blackie was he always seemed humble and honest. His lure line is very good.
