Nice score, Bruce. I already had a couple 22 Qt. pressure canners, but picked up another brand new one at the Goodwill store for $25. Turns out, the oldest Daughter want's to get into canning, so that works out perfectly. Charlie

you need about a quart of water , a rack to keep the eggs just above the water , 6-10 eggs and 5 minutes from the time your hissing good and close the valve to turn it off and release pressure and you get the best hard boiled eggs.
make a habit of staying close on start up and having the valve open when you get a good column of steam coming out close the valve and start your time.
I have had the auto timer on my insta-pot do strange things a few times , but this catches it
as soon as you can remove them from the pot or take the pot out of the cooker and set it in the sink and run cold water to start them cooling ,never had eggs so easy to peal

Are they easy to clean. Think it would be good at deer camp only if cleanup is easy. Should be.

Don't tell the BATF or the FBI you bought that or you'll be placed on a terrorist watch list or a FBI no-fly list. w

the insta-pot is easy to clean. not sure about yours. get all that you can out of it , if there is some stuck on rice or other food add a couple quarts water set it to pressure cook for 6 minutes and let it go , the food just about rinses right off.
on the insta pot the cooking vessel is a SS insert pull it out wash it in the sink and pop it back in the lid doesn't need much more than a run thru the dish water and a rag.
not sure if yours has it , the Insta-pot has the keep warm and the slow cook options
I use mine for stew now in the winter quite a bit put ingredients in set to High slow cook and let it go for 4-6 hours then it drops to keep warm for 12 hours
you need to cycle it of and on every 12 hours or it shuts off , but the stew or chili is always hot and ready to eat. for a couple days.
