Wife and I had to head into town so we stopped and tried a new local brewery. Chose to not go into the tasting room but came home with a growler of Turtle Stack Brewing Oat Brown. Unbelievably good! Already through my second pint and the growler is more than half full...and everyone knows you can't keep a partial growler and expect it to be good! Waste not want not.

Stopped on the way home and picked up a couple take-out fish fries.

Gonna be a good night here in Wisconsin! Please let me know if my sentences are slurred.

Never heard of it. Drank a lot of different beers in the 70s with the beer driver strike. Peter hand was a brand I will never forget. What a name. Having gentleman jack tonight

Rarely drink anymore but if I do it’s a Porter or stout of some sort. Back in my 20’s Jager was
My liquor of choice and I could really put it away. Never gave me a headache like beer does.

One of my uncles worked as a brewer at the Narraganset Brewery (owned by Falstaff at the time) in Cranston R.I. I toured the place twice which was a lot of fun. Out in the brewery proper they had sinks plumed to a keg - sink on one side of a wall supplied from a keg on the other side. Made for a lot of happy workers, but maybe not the best beer.
