Any ideas on attaching the locks to a trap swivel, I was hoping to use a j-hook and go directly to the swivel but the j-hooks from a swivel seems to be to small to close properly on the lock. I'm using them as a slide on a #2 machine chain to move catches off of two tracks to hide them over a ditch bank.

Did you ever come up with a solution? This sounds like the setup I'm going to try this year. Would a 3/16 quick link or Sleep EZ spring hook work?

I just use a j hook thru the 1/4 hole on the hags lock and just attach the trap chain to the j hook.
