In my humble opinion after reading his book and watching some of his horse training stuff the man is some what of a fake. Does he have some skill as a horse trainer,yes. But a lot of his stuff is made up and or very dramatized to generate attention for profit. I believe his brother has written a book to clarify some of the stuff Monty wrote about his family and childhood. If not a book he has at least spoken out publicly on the subject. Monty got his ranch through a law suit. I believe he even said that in his book.
