They will have more clout if more people join.
Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

The reason D 's complain about the NRA, is because they want you to think the NRA really is against "common sense gun control". They know the real goal of the NRA is the same goal PETA has. Use a controversial issue to make money. The NRA does not want the supremes to acknowledge "shall not be infringed" because it would cook the goose that has been laying all the golden eggs.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Same here. Lifetime NRA member, but when they caved on bump stocks (I don't own one, want one or am even sure I would take free, but I would if you paid me, but I support your right to own anything you want). I joined GOA.
I think the NRA needs to be saved, but ol' Wayne needs to go. He hasn't done anything wrong (you can look at the court cases on the NRA site). But I think it's time for him to go. Additionally I have a problem with the salary that he and the upper level cronies get. Does he need nice suits, yes he does, but he don't need private flights, 1st class everything etc. I am done with the NRA living high on the hog, while I scratch out a living. The NRA is a non-profit, not a personal enrichment company for Wayne and his cronies.
Don't care if he got himself a golddigger... I am not paying for her though.
I get more bang for my buck with GOA.

Disappointed no one mentioned SAF Second Amendment Foundation or CCKBA citizens committee to keep and bear arms. Been around for decades. Google is your friend guys. Yep. Do any of you guys listen to the radio program Gun Talk on the weekends. Great 3 hour program.
