The traeger is not the grill to roast and peel . Ill have to try open flame next time im going to runn them through the tomatoe strainer

Open flame works pretty good, you have them pretty tight on the grill that might be some of the problem but I know traegers don’t really get hot.

Back in the 80s in Las Cruces NM the folks would stand in line for a loooooong time to get ahold of some flame roasted chili peppers.

That grill will do a couple perfectly . The air fryer does a couple great . Im going to take a big tractor tire rim and make a pit for open fire a bunch at a time

I bought these already roasted, peeled and chopped. This is the last of them. Need to break it up into smaller bags to be thawed one at a time. Stuff is hard to find here. It just aint fried potato's without green chili.

Anaheims arnt real hot either . Those are the green ones . the yellow ones are hungarian hot wax they are as hot as i care to eat . My pomblanos arnt putting on like i hoped . They arnt real hot either . I
Ive been doing alot of experimenting the last few weeks im getting my best flavor by mixing roasted peeled sweet bells , yolo wonders , and the Anaheims for a little kick
