Added them to mine about two years ago, Not that expensive and easy to install, haven't noticed much for refusals.


Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

The way I heard DNR wanted them for up north and the northern guys said if we need them you should require it statewide.

I did not read it was farm zone only. I though it read state wide.

I have a couple hundred snares now that need modifying,. pain in the $%%&*

I don't have to here but I like BADs on all my coyote snares, it its a bit of relief when you have a deer or stray cow escape. Nothing is 100% but even a few is better than dealing with the alternative. It should be pretty easy to nip off the end stop and install a release ferrule BAD on the end of your premade snares. Use the right tool and do the right crimps easy-peasy.

The right bad is better than a deer stop, i like 150# ones with 6-7' snare and choke soring

Yes it is stupid northern trappers fought and delayed south zone for years. They theory was that they could lose snaring up north if the legislature had to vote on it. Same tactics the are using to stop NR trapping.
