cheechako OP trapper Joined: May 2020 Posts: 279 Water Valley, Mississippi	Although my ice hockey experience is limited due to my geographic location, I've found it to be true that ice hockey is the superior to football. The rules are easier to understand, there is more consistent action, and in both sports the players knock the crap out of each other. Change my mind.... The trapper formerly known as sanfo008

We are told not to judge all Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but are told to judge all gunowners by the actions of a few.

Northwing70 trapper N Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 136 WNY	Hockey. Always been a hockey fan and my boys play travel hockey. My oldest plays in the Canadian league even though we live near Buffalo. Off sides happens when an offensive player crosses the offensive blue line before the puck crosses the blue line. It eliminates cherry-pickin' like you see in basketball. Hockey hits are about 17% harder, if I remember correctly, and sticking up for your team is still alive on the ice. Hence many fights ensue, not to mention the trash talking between players to egg someone on.

Well it got real cold and the mud froze. We played one team made up of the University hockey team. Being an old football player, I explained football to every hockey player I caught, by pounding them down on that frozen mud. Every time I said; "Welcome to football! " It was fun. Who is John Galt?
