Wild Wi; I just showed it on my Blog. Right above the last post, announcing the death of the old Dog.

I've had truly wonderful Dogs, down the years. But, I have one's photo on my mantelpiece as I type. Bane. One of my Pit Bull's. I never let dust settle over that picture. I always remind him he's my son. Taken from me way too soon.

Strange thing is, it took about thirty years for it to drop that he's actually the only Dog I ever actually had from a pup. Every other Dog has been a rescue. And now, I have Balzac. Got him at 10 weeks. I know genetics is a big part of it. But, I'm happy to say he's the most relaxed and happy Dog I know.

I live a practically hermetic life now. So, all that Balzac really knows about life, he got from me. And, in Balzac's head; The world is good!
