Ok, I am new to trapping and want some coyote traps, On a budget and am looking at Bridger #2 dogless 2 coil traps. Will these do the job for KS coyotes? Any other recommendations? I know everyone has different opinions and experiences. But are dogless better for coyotes and worth the extra dollars?

I like the dogless better but it is personal preference. Maybe get some of each. If you are going to be trapping in frozen ground you may want to consider four coiled traps.

Look up wolf creek #2 dogless. U can get a dz for around 90.00 I fixing to order a few to use on public land. On private land I run bridger's #2 offset 4 coil Canadian style.

FWIW, I think they would do fine. I've got a dozen ready for this next trapping season. I've been using the regular Bridger #2 which are the same size with good results. I kind of wish I had went with the dogless to begin with.

The dogless seem to be a little easier to set and the pan is a little bigger.

I bought a few of these to see how they looked. They are called substandard, but i am very happy with them.

A bridger #2 is a great coyote trap. dog on or dogless.
