So you would go out hunting with only one arrow. And your the best guide In Alaska. LOL I don't know if he was much of a guide. I have my doubts. One thing I am sure of, he was the biggest boaster in Alaska.

My friend that has hunted with him several times. He delivers as far as guiding and taking care of his hunters. My friend has told me long before this show that Roland is the real deal and quite a character..so far watching the show I believe it.Also he does pretty good trapping most winters.

Well, Joel tapped out, Callie had a 4 rabbit day, Kielyn got her required crying spell behind her and Roland is just getting every thing sewn up.

I just watched the last episode and Roland had at least 4 arrows that I could see In the rock house. He did build a great meat crib.

I knew soy boy was never going to make it. Good grief, he was trying to build some log cabin that was going to last 100 years not 100 days. He should have built something like everyone else and concentrated on food. Then again, he didn't even take a bow. I'm bummed mark tapped out. I liked him and thought he could do it.

They didn't show Roland this time. He must be doing well with his musk ox meat. I think the only way Roland is out would be from a medical problem at this point. He is set. The girl from Canada I doubt will make it. She seems way to emotional and the girl from Montana gets hurt from the previews. So who knows about the women. That guy from El Salvador is still a wild card. He has been through much worse but I just can't read that guy.

Well, it looks like next week is the grand finale. We going to have a female or male winner.....or both?
On a side note...that porky was still edible as long as everything was cooked really well. Would have been hard to get that spotted liver down though just for psychological reasons.

He's got It together but he's still a blow hard. In the last segment I watched he was still saying he was the best guide In Alaska.

I'm wondering if no one wins it? Roland has lost a lot of weight and they might just pull him. The girl from Canada gets on my nerves. She's a whiner and cries at the drop of a hat. Meh, like most Canucks I guess. I like the girl from Montana, she's daffy and a little wacked in the head but has a great outlook. She always seems happy and positive. It will be interesting but I would not be surprised if no one is left.

I love the show!!! I can't believe the contestants who start crying on day two and tap out. They do have a couple solid guys this time. I love watching how they create and devise solutions for things from the materials at hand. Now I will whine - but not about the show itself... #1. It airs at 9:00 p.m.central when I'm falling asleep and I end up missing half of it. #2. I cannot find reruns of the past episodes. (No fancy DVR stuff here.) So many of the shows on History, Discovery and National Geographic (like Mountain Men, Life Below Zero, Curse of Oak Island, etc.) routinely would rerun the last few episodes ahead of the new one each week. That put me in my happy place because I could catch up at any time by watching a few hours of consecutive shows on one night. For some reason, Alone is not shown that way. There. I'm done. Thanks for listening. I will not start crying however.

Golly Patrice...ya got no DVR? Waaaahhh! Big ol' crocodile tears pouring down my cheeks right now. I had no idea DVR hadn't been introduced to Wisconsin yet.
