All the best on your future endeavors. Life is too short to work for a prick!

A hard thing to do but life is short, and working in a toxic atmosphere is not good. Good luck to you!

Morning, thanks for all the encouragement. It's scary leaving a job where you have put heart and soul into it. I've put my life on the line dealing with bad people with guns. Was shot at year half ago and yet to go court. You guys have brought tears to my eyes, never expected t-man members to be like family. Some have already reached out for some work and get aways. My wife and i went yesterday and had a date in a little country park and it felt great. Been a long time since we did that. She also likes the idea i will be home and not working 12 hour night shifts. Plus my health needs some attention. I will miss my fellow officers. Some i hope i made a difference in their lives. I recently bought a complete fishing outfit for a fellow female officers son.She didn'T have the extra money. All i asked was. Spend all the time you can with him. I'll go for now. Sarge out

They don't pay you enough to get an ulcer. If you need to spend a long weekend or something away from your surroundings, give me a shout.
Take care

Make sure you request an exit interview with the higher ups and explain in person exactly why you are leaving.
Good luck

Having retired three years ago I am convinced a lot of people work too long, haven't missed work at all, busy all the time. Finally took Social Security in June at 65, nice to see some of the money I paid in for 45 years come back.
