I service a bunch of Yanmar engines as they are quite popular in the boating world. But only very rarely have to actually fix one and then its usually due to the owner ..... Like a bunch of water in the separators or not running it for 10 years and then just starting it up etc running it with next to no oil or coolant. . Stuff like that. Other than that, they are pretty darn reliable. These are made here in the US and that was a big plus for me as well. Yanmar built the JohnDeere compact tractors for them for 25 years. I would have a look at them if I was in your shoes. They build tractors up to 100 Hp so you should be able to find one in their lineup.

I am quite surprised how much muscle that little thing has. I am pulling roots out from trees that I have cut down where the house is going to be and with the ripper that I made that thing is going through roots that I can't get my hands around. This is making the clearing a lot easier then I thought it was going to be. Got the range cleared up , half and acre of brambles pushed away a third of the house site cleared and a few buckets of gravel up in from of the steps. all in under 3 hours. Ohh and thanks Lefty, I am not rich but got the good looks.

One nice looking beasty there. Hope she serves you well.
