My favorite is to slice in strips and fry like a chicken finger. I think they go good with anything you would use chicken in. They have great flavor but its light and can be over powered in a heavy dish.

I got quite a few.. I hear they can be kept in the fridge for several weeks, but I'd be interested if they can be frozen etc as well

I vacuum seal mine and freeze them. I've cooked them then put in the freezer for a quick heat up and use them in salads for diner can't tell the difference between a normal chicken salad or one made with the mushrooms.

So you have frozen them raw and cooked them and froze and they turn out well both ways?

I would cook them before freezing. With some mushrooms there are enzymes that need o be heated/neutralized for better results.
