That sounds about right. Mine is a 20 guage also. Killed my first coyote with it also. Im not a gun nut but I've got more of a intrest in the good old reliable working class of guns than fancy guns. You know the kind that were boight and used to put meat on the table kind.

Yes sir! We are an Ithaca household my dad has a set of model 37s put back for all three of us boys. My year is 1952 and I believe my other brothers are ‘48 and ‘53

that is a hard one

maybe I have a favorite of each type or for each use.

the 44 super black hawk the wife gave me as a wedding present 20 years ago is definitely my favorite revolver.

my favorite pump shotgun is the Mossberg 500 Yes I am that guy who put a 70 dollar Morgan pad on a 250 dollar M500. because fit is king.

VERY, VERY NICE!

Granddad was quite the connoisseur!

Not really gramps was a farmer that bought what he thought was a cheap double barrel shotgun and the rest of his life complained about how he was took by the seller

My Remington 870 Wingmaster that I bought new when I got my first job after graduating high school in 1976. 3' Mag, vent rib, 30 in. full choke. $240.00. Soon after I bought a 28 in. mod. barrel and a smooth bore slug barrel. Still use it today. It survived a night at the bottom of the Kalamazoo River, many duck and deer hunts, and is one I will never get rid of. Way too many memories.

I've got a Savage 24DL 22 over 20 gauge that was my great grandpa's. Grandma gave it to me for my 12th birthday. My father in law gave me a Remington 1903 from early 1942 that looks like it was never issued. My favorite uncle gave me a Ruger #1 in 270 2 years before he passed away. I go through guns like crazy, don't know how many I've sold or traded before I even shot them, but those 3 will be here as long as I am

You can’t have just one favorite

H&R 20 gauge single hand me down, my dad bought it when he turned 16, shot my first pat with, I shoot my other shotguns better but still love it.
Savage 99 .308, another hand me down, grandfather’s gun, I shot my first deer and bear with, just put a Lyman peep on.
And the ruger standard I just picked up for the trapline.

Lol! Good for you those things just randomly decide to kill people all the time. Especially those evil AR-14s. It’s a good thing Joe Biden is going to save us from them!

Favorite lol changes with the season and what's new to the collection to try out.
All time tops list
Ruger mark 2 .22 - shot and killed piles of game had it 22 years.
12g Steven's 311 double. Was my wifes great uncles first gun for putting meat on the table when he was ll. Beat to heck mis matched plastic forearm and medical tape taped around the pistol grip. Picked it up from her grandmother along with another double cheap. The first time I shot rabbits with it I was in love. It's like pointing my finger at them it's so natural. I finally understand why people pay so much for a custom fit shotgun.
