If your life hinges on $1200, you really need to re-evaluate your choices. I remember being that broke, when I finally realized how much money I wasted on stupid junk it made me sick. I could literally be a millionaire right now if I would have made better choices with my money.

If the government hands me a check for $1200, I’ll smile and cash it, but until then I’m gonna go do what needs done and get that $1200 myself. You should do the same coonman220

I'll receive my stimulus tomorrow morning. Worked two doubles last week.

It's hard to believe. Company I work for (AK Steel) has been putting commercials on the local radio stations. High school diploma and a clean drug test is all that's needed.
Can't even get enough people to apply. Sad

Don't know if anyone mentioned it. But, I wonder how many of these stimulus recipients realize they will owe taxes on this money they received? It wasn't tax free. Most of the people I spoke to didn't have taxes taken out when they received it.

I don't care how nice the hand soap smells, you should never walk out of the restroom sniffing your fingers.

The stimulus money will not be added to your taxable income. You are welcome.

The stimulus money to individuals is not taxable income. It was a refundable credit.

Your stimulus might get applied to your outstanding income tax bill. Save you a postage stamp.

I told coonman last winter that he should have expanded into catching minnows to sell to bait shops. Sort of like critter trapping. I bet this spring and summer, there has been more people hanging around bank fishing because of covid shutdowns than most years. Could have been a good gig to get into depending on the competition. If that failed, there was always Amazon (Mechanical) Turk... grin
