My son just accepted a job in Cheyenne. Where can I help him to look for an apartment or small house. The job is only for 6 months at this time, might be extended. He's an outdoorsman and recently graduated college wrestler and would rather be out of town. Anyone from that area know where to look or have any leads. He will be bringing his well behaved dog.

Thanks

There is a lot of apartments in town, last I knew prices weren't very cheap, if I think of a realtor in the area I'll post links, but there will be plenty of places for him to look at.

Outside the city limits of Cheyenne there is...........nothing but desert. Until you get 75 miles to the west to Snowy Range.

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Castormound on here lives around Cheyenne. Maybe you can send him PM or he might see this and respond.

Thanks for the replies so far. We have found some apartments but a little steep in the prices. He would really like to be outside of town. Hoping to find a rancher outside of town somewhere that has a room or cabin for rent. I stayed in a mobile home on a ranch outside of Miles City Montana in the mid 80's when I was stationed there for 9 months. Worked out perfect. Little surprised by the real estate prices in Cheyenne. Thought they would be cheaper than central PA

Its not even close to desert around Cheyenne, but if you want more scenic area, look for something out on happy Jack road close to granite state park, or more towards Laramie, and Laramie is only 50 miles from Cheyenne, but yeah, prices are going to be up there, we are dealing with the overflow from Colorado anymore, I'll ask some friends down there who is a good realtor to talk to.
