Okay thanks Mike & John, I thought with the same last name, and both living in South Dakota they could have been related.

Probably lots of Huber's there.

I knew Lonnie back in the eightys, used to come to the conventions all the time. Was a driven trapper back then, young go getter! (like all of us). Last time I saw him was at a national in Ia, I think, and he was having health issues.

Scott, I met at Glen Sterling's funeral service. Never heard a connection between the two.

Now officially an old fart

Lonnie use to always have a booth at s.d. trappers association fall convention, he was a very good snare man.
I was pretty young and think back on it i bugged him more than i should have.
But he was always good to me, pretty sure i have his snare book around somewhere. He lived down by yankton s.d.

Let me sugar coat this

Thanks for posting all the pictures!

Again, with all the uncertainty in the world, and the fur market as a whole, we appreciate everyone that made the trip and was part of Coyote Days 2020!

There IS a market for Western coyotes, and Heavy Eastern coyotes. I hope everyone that attended this event can use the info to your benefit. You are among the most informed, and up to date coyote men in the country!

Thanks, John
