I don't usually get very good apples. I have several varieties and get a lot of apples that can be eaten but none could be sold in supermarket. This year is the worst. I suspect it's because we got so much rain all summer. Fungus got my apples and my peaches. Pears are looking okay so far.

My apple trees are loaded to the point the branches are breaking off.
I have nothing clever to put here.

This just doesn't seem to be good apple country around here. Most trees have apples too small to do anything with except let the wildlife eat them. There are a few exceptions. Maybe it's the makeup of the soil they grow in.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

My wild apples are ok no bumper crop. The couple trees I planted I am still taking the flowers off so they don’t fruit yet. I will let them produce fruit next year now that they are 8-9 feet tall. The problem I keep having with them is the Japanese Beetles. I have sprayed the trees and the beetles still eat the leaved. The bears are in the wild grapes, apples, acorn and corn field
The bitterness of poor quality last a lot longer than the sweetness of low price

Small in size but seems to be plenty of apples this year. Acorns are very plentiful.
Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.
