found a deep cycle battery along the road. battery checks out good, but the case is cracked. could this be caulked shut? or is it a lost cause?

worth the money as a core,
if you were going to try and seal it and use ti I would make sure to keep it in a battery box that won't leak if the seal fails
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

You might be able to “weld” it with another piece of plastic and a kids wood burner

worth the money as a core X2 Decent scrap value , one of the things I save/hunt for scrap. Prices go up and down , when high can be worth as much as $10 per battery.

Epoxy will work, clean it up rough it up and epoxy it. You may have to adjust electrolyte level in the effected cells.
