Bought her a youth/woman sized Savage .223 and it came with a 3x9 Nikon threaded the barrel for the suppressor. If she gets into it I will get her a better scope for longer range.
I thought I might as well get one too, so I got a Savage Axis with a 4x12 Vortex and a threaded and fluted barrel also in .223. They were both combo guns.

I had some 55 grain Nosler loads that I ran through my Dillon and there was a little breaze from the left and it shot an amazing 3 shot group. I have put together some nice rifles and i was thinking it would shoot ok for a beater coyote gun. Crazy how well it shot at 100 yards.

I'm a huge Savage fan. My wife has a 7mm-08 just like your wife's. She loves it

Had to help her cousin sight in a new rifle and I wanted him to be able to use a good solid bench, so we went to the local gun club. But I have stepped out the back door buck naked to shoot a coyote I saw out the window while walking through the house heading for the shower. I live out in the middle of nowhere so it's no big deal. grin

I always set them about that high at 100 and they will be right on a 200. I said there was a bit of wind drift! laugh

My ice hockey coach from high school ...who Iam still friends with...builds 1,000 yard guns. But his latest build a while back is .22 rim fire. He gets the action out of Texas (1700.00) then the barrel...and all the other stuff. He shoots 200 yards with it....and you should see the scores he gets...unbelievable ! I do all the sanding and clear coats on the stocks for him. I’ll have to get some pics
